what financing opportunities are there for people who cannot afford car repairs?

my 1996 Ford taurus won’t crank or turnover. its totally silent when I try to start my car. I am not really working right now so I have no idea how I can afford to fix it, any suggestions on what could be causing it not to start or financing solutions?

   If it clicks it is the starter motor, if not it is either the battery or alternator.

   Unless the engine was acting strangly before it probably doesn’t cost much to fix.
